One great collection is The Complete 'Life's Little Instruction Book'; written by H. Jackson Brown, Jr. Published in 1997

It reminded me of what I learned from my elders when I was young, so from time to time I will do a little post with these age-old bits of wisdom. I doubt if I can post anything not already mentioned or printed elsewhere, but these will be the list that I remember or intend to pass on to my children...
